Please join me at Washington Printmakers Gallery this day. I”ll be there from 11-5 and would love to show you my two prints made from my garden’s bamboo.
I will have about 15 works in various plants, most using a combination of color and natural plant tannin.
I look forward to seeing you there!
“When I saw this painting, it stopped me and I felt my eyes go ‘soft’ in vision and just stood there enjoying the change in me. I seemed to create through my breath , feeling relaxed and mysterious.
Because I could, I changed the direction of the image, going from vertical to horizontal — I saw and felt the image in a totally different way — each turn of the view, stirred a unique sense of how change of view can reva instantly a deep change internally.
Which is why original art is so timeless in reflecting our inner selves.”
Thank you Karin!!
